TRANSIT SERVICE
Transit service means the transportation of goods owned by foreign organizations or individuals through the Vietnamese territory, including in warehousing, splitting of goods, changing modes of transport or other jobs will be performed during transit time
Goods are transited through international border and right route.
During the transit time of goods, the change of transport route must be approved by the Ministry of Transport.
Transit via air performed according to the international aviation treaty that the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is a member.
During the transit time, all the goods are subject to vietnam customs supervision
The duration of transit through the territory of Vietnam is 30 days from the date of completion of all customs procedures in Vietnam (except in special cases).
Some cases are not allowed to transit through the Territory of Vietnam
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives or other dangerous goods.
- They are prohibited from doing business, banned or suspended from export. Or prohibited and suspended import.
